Clinical Supervision
My level of experience in providing psychotherapy allows me to supervise therapists who are working toward full clinical licensure in the state of Maryland. Clinicians who hold the license of LMSW are able to receive supervision from me which will count toward their required hours.
Supervision typically takes place in a group setting and meets once per month for three hours. The supervision group provides a confidential forum for therapists to build clinical skills while working through issues of transference/countertransference, professionalism, identity and everything else that arises internally and interpersonally in the course of doing our work.
The global focus of our group is anti-oppressive, liberatory and anti-racist clinical practice. That said, the group is led by a white male (me). Licensed clinicians of all identity groups are welcomed in the space.
